Well 1st of all its good to be back. If I am writing it means I am exercising again and have something to report :) I hardly write if there is nothing to report on. I am typing with 2 hands but it hurts to type a little and overall still sore. Its going to take a few weeks to get fully operational again but at least I am moving. I cannot put any weight on my wrist really and I need ot be patient.
I can run though and run I did today in the Dunes at Wingate. It was my last run there though where I will meet with old and new Winlife participants. The program officially came to end today. Not sure exactly what happened some say bankruptcy and a combination of Wingate institute to take it over. Who knows. Bottom line is there is a group of people out there without any system and an era come to an end. Very sad but what can you do. If you ask me it all came down to bad management and the new pricing structure killed the business off. It was a matter of greed and not really putting priorities first which first and foremost was to genuinely help people turn their lives around.
I went to a spinning class with Chen at Winlife which was a parting lesson for all there and was pretty sad for the other people there and me too. All I can say is thank g-d I have found a good place and routing at Holmes Place to continue when I did otherwise I would be without a good routine right now .
Regarding my weight and eating, things have gotten a little out of hand so to speak and with pesach and this injury I have gained a few pounds which need to be pulled off fast and furious. I am confined to mostly cardio for the next 2-4 weeks by doctor’s orders and I am going to use it to start counting my calories like I should again and pulling it all off and with some bonus too. It’s a slippery slope I am on and I need to get control again which comes with both exercising but most of all eating. No more Shwarma for a while and I need to be cooking wholesome food at home a lot. I need to be ready for my next exercise rest period when I have the tummy tuck operation and am off my exercise for 6 weeks.
Anyways today I am drinking an average Singleton Malt whisky with Pepsi Max and I am looking forward to resting and running my heart out next week in the gym and swimming in the pool if I can.
Shabbat Shalom
