As a lot of Ye’all are preparing to have Chanukah doughnuts and Latkes that are the main things on the menu this week . Be-Aware!!! . Even though one of my many nicknames through life was once “Latke Lurie”  I will stay away from them and the doughnuts and get some real food\fuel  in my system  instead out of choice. It’s just not worth eating that crap.

In fact I was thinking of it while cooking today that for 2 years now I have consistently stayed far away off all fried foods. I have had the odd chip or taste of something but have opted out of seeking and ordering it whenever I eat out or at home. The only fried stuff I eat at home is lightly fried in Olive oil or butter but nothing near crazy as I was for most of my 34 previous years. I eat fast food out sometimes while working on the road but I will order a hamburger for instance  and never order a side dish of  Fries with it ever.

I do this all not feeling deprived whatsoever when I go out,  in fact I feel good that I can refrain from simply putting all that  unhealthy crap into my system when I work so hard to maintain that weight loss and most importantly my good health by eating healthily.

I will attempt to make my own healthy Latke at some stage this week I will keep Ye’all posted. I was thinking of opening a restaurant today with every meal healthy ,accounted for to the calorie and delicious like I make my own food. I am sure it would make money only I will have to wait till I can just decide on these things and viably Just Do It. All of you who have tasted my cooking will know I don’t play games and only cook what is really tasty or not at all. As a previously Fat person I knew what good food tasted like I did not get that way from nothing.

On now to what exercise I managed for the Friday morning session. I  ran 9km half sand road half sand dune nature  reserve. I then went to the Gym for an hour. This was followed by a great spinning class by Chen. Music could have had a little more Trance than Israeli but oh well next time she will reward me and the  other folks will suffer a little.. She crapped me out by asking why I never came to Aerobics on Sunday and Thursday while she is replacing Naama. I felt bad … I will make an effort on Sunday she is actually very good but we all got used to such a high standard with Naama that is hard now coming down a notch… I ended off today with a 1km cool down swim and then Sauna which was relaxing. All in all 2450 Calories burnt off.

I was looking at my watch now at some of the totals. All in all since I started 2 years ago I have burnt off 747511 calories. I am pretty consistent and almost always wear the heart rate monitor. That’s a shit load of calories if I say so myself  : ) I am looking forward to Clocking the Speedometer on the watch when it reaches a million because there is no space for an extra number J
