Indoor Mini Triathlon Tuesday

Today I had a very intense workout on at Winlife. I did a sort of Mini Indoor Triathlon. I swam for an hour. Then I did a spinning class. I had a little break and did around 30 minutes weight training. I was pretty tired by this stage and I took a Caffeine Gel to give m energy for the last thing which was running for 50 minutes on the elliptical cross trainer. All in all I burnt off 2750 calories according to my watch. I am looking forward to new years even if I lose the bet just so  I can take it down a little notch because I think I have been pushing a bit too hard for the last 8 weeks. The Spaddiction continues.

20th March 2009 . A Date I Need to Remember !!!

I forgot that on the 20th of December I missed my 10 month anniversary since I stopped smoking nicotine. Time flipping flies!!  I am definitely happy I stopped it’s was a big curse, waste of money, time and bad lungs

Someone at Winlife who has lost 34kg asked me today at what stage you stop fearing that you will put all the weight back on. I think that you need to fear it but I would not call it fear but more awareness of what you have to do to maintain it for life. I certainly cannot picture myself going back all that way its completely illogical and out of choice I will stay where I am not through fear. I also told him to throw all the big clothes away. It must feel like you are putting on weight if you do and there must not be anything in the wardrobe that is fat to get into.

His answer to this was that in the past he did but now he is thinking that he will keep it because he may need to go buy again.

 1st of all that’s not the right positive mode of thinking you need for a lifestyle change. This is for life not till the next Fad diet!!!

2nd of all if you do need to buy clothes because you put on  weight again then good let it hurt your wallet and look bad on you and tight!!! If I put on the weight then I deserve the punishment for being an idiot and losing control to put my weight loss achievement in reverse. A good kick in the ass is too is what I need then!!!

Getting into Weight Loss Maintenance is just making healthy choices for the rest of my life on a more consistent basis. There is no going back in my mind it just does not make sense whatsoever now that I have figured out what a Stupid problem being classified as obese really was. The process of stopping to smoke tobacco was based on this thought process too and its why I am sure I am holding on to that success too.
