Real Six Pack Abs !!!

Real Six Pack Abs !!!

Today I had an extreme cardio workout .I normally don’t do 3 hours in a row like this but I had to do an hour less than my usual Tuesday workout so I gave it a bash.

I started off with a 10KM run. Yep 10km with hill sprints at the end of it. That really knocked me for a loop. It’s also the 3rd day in a row I am running this week. Don’t worry tomorrow I am resting and can get back into the pool for 2 days. I then got pulled into a Spinning class with Naama which was very intense to say the least. To top it all off I went to an aerobics class. All in all I burnt off 2500 calories today and loved every minute of it. Mike Geary (Author of  “The truth About  Six Pack Abs”)  I disagree with you on one thing in your philosophy but these are the personal choices of a crazy Spaddict(Sports Addict)   Mike Geary claims that hours of cardio is boring (No Fu…enWays)!!!!  I disagree and think it’s the best endorphin boost you can get.

Mike Geary's Theory on Cardio is That it is a Boring Waste of Time!!! Its Not True !!! I Beg to DISAGREE !!!

I got a sneak preview on the Gym scale things are looking promising for tomorrows weigh in whoohoo.

What I do believe in from Mike Geary but is a very long term goal (1-2years) is in the quest for  SixPackAbs . I hope to achieve this with a few tips from him, my fat % reduction, Pilates and a surgical procedure called abdominoplasty (tummy tuck),  . Unfortunately years and years of being overweight stretch the skin over the stomach and it just does not shrink back to what it should be.   I was at a doctor today to try get the operation approved by my  medical insurance.  The doctor was very nice and promised to push for me in the committee that decides on the matter. The absurd of the matter is people who undergo the Gastric bypass operation do have this automatically covered by the medical insurance. In any case after my recent dealings with the National health system and its great deficiencies I was pleasantly surprised that it’s I even possible to get them to pay for it. I am quite nervous to have it done however it’s necessary to at last finally feel like I have no stomach anymore when looking in the mirror and hopefully one day to have the possibility of having six pack abs who knows :) .

  1. Wow, good luck with the Op man, how long is it ? Will you have big scares ? How long will you not be able to do sports ?

  2. Spaddict says:

Not sure how long the Op is. I hope there is no scaring because its plastic surgery The biggest problem is I will have to refrain from doing sports for 4-6 weeks. I will be suffering the most from that.
