Mondays Meaning of Life

What a long day got home at 9pm tonight and I have been going since 530AM. I am sooooo Moeg. Ok so what did the Spaddict manage today ? Well I managed to run 2 days in a row for a start!!!! Its been a long time since I tried that with my Achilles problem. I also could not hold back today at the turnaround halfway point and had to head into the Dunes and run with a sea view on the way back. I am a danger to myself I know but it’s the price of being an addict. I then went to a Strengthening class and finished off with an aerobics class with a different instructor who I have not been with for about 6 months. All in all once again around the 1800 calorie mark burnt off.
I was talking today to someone who was with me in the beginning of the program at Winlife. In fact he joined because he was seeing the results on me. He lost more than 20KG but stopped coming regularly and has since gained all the weight back +++. He has lately has been trying to just diet no exercise without much success. He thinks he would have to eat around 900 calories a day in order to lose any weight. I told him that’s just pure starvation and we all know its not healthy and in no ways sustainable for any length of time. He has been considering having one of the surgical procedures to lose the weight.

I strongly advise against these for a number of reasons.
- ITS NOT NECESSARY YOU CAN MAKE THE SWITCH IN YOUR HEAD AND DO IT THE NATURAL WAY.ITS ALL IN YOUR HEAD JUST USE IT FOR ONCE !!!
- We love our food why should we want not to be able to enjoy it by feeling full after 2 mouthfuls. Its not natural.
- One of the big side effects is clinical depression. Now I would say that a large percentage of overweight people are already depressed being overweight and this is just going to compound the problem. Instead of food to try quell your depression you are going to be using pills . Now ask yourself if this is a “healthier” option.
- Shrinking your stomach you are not going to be able to get all the nourishment form food types because you are so limited in what you can take in.
- Surgery where they touching your real internals scares the crap out of me I don’t know about you.
- Etc etc etc

Now most people complain to me they don’t have time or energy to exercise with kids and family work etc. It’s all a matter of prioritizing an hour for yourself every day. Get up an hour earlier. You will find by eating healthily and exercising regularly that you have more energy than you ever had before. Everyone I know always says how hard it is to get down to it but when they actually do the exersize there is nothing like the great feeling once finished. So why not do it everyday then ????
If you don’t make the time you are exposing yourself and your family to the daily risk that you won’t be around or healthy enough to be with them for many more years to come.
