Pulling My Weight….

Don’t know how but I managed to get up again this morning after going into Winlife last night too.  The weather really has to be taken advantage off on everyday its not raining or freezing now. I managed to run 8km today in the dunes. My knees are a little sore I hope this is not going to get worse in time and can only pray all will be good. After that I managed to push myself through 45 minutes in the gym. The Last hour I spent in the pool doing water aerobics with Mushi which was great as usual. Less people seem to come to the class these days and I cannot understand them because it’s definitely one of the best activities Winlife has to offer and is injury free. Total calories burnt today were 1900.

  The Gym or rather weight training  is definitely not one my favorite activities and I find it the most boring .  It must be done however and is important to getting some muscle mass going. The long main aim is to be able to eat more calories per day and not on account of my exercising but an account of my body burning more calories to sustain the muscle mass. There are varying theories on the internet how much is actually burnt by this but the general consensus is it definitely helps with the RMR. Mike Geary claims I think 300 calories per day for every kilogram of muscle mass but on this I don’t believe him totally and think it’s less. I need to do some more research on this one .Mike Geary is a marketing genius but  not all he says should be taken as the truth because his main aim is to sell his book Which BTW you can buy at the link on his name  .( I also want to sell a little  :)  ) .In fact click on one of the  Google Advertisements per day :)  you may find something interesting there ,  but most of all you will be adding a few more cents to my income without buying  me a protein bar or making any big capital investments. ……. In fact its completely FREE!!! .These ads can be found on the sidebars and under each post :)

I have one more exercising day left before weigh in. I am not too optimistic of reaching the goal by this Wednesday and winning my bet but at least I know I have put in the work and I am on my way to the goal by the 1st of January. I cannot believe it’s almost the new year already. Next year soon I am definitely going to be feeling much older as I dip into the late 30’s  !!!  Going to be getting more pressure from all parties concerned to get on with it. I won’t cave in to pressure though :)  . I am only getting out of my teens now that I have lost the weight. I need time to enjoy some freedom before I get a ball and chain attached….

Looking through YouTube to find something amusing for all of you who are sleeping already reading this Weight loss Maintenance  Blog can in itself be very amusing and  I was on the floor laughing watching this one today… Mr. Bean at his best. Viewed over 20 million times…..
