The Race is over – Time to Pray a Little
On the right you can see my new format for explaining what I have done for the day at Winlife and Wingate today. I will be posting my full weekly report on a separate page on the website soon too . As you can see it was a pretty mild day on my standards but that’s what Wednesdays are.The run was awesome today. A little cold at first but great weather and I think I can say now my running fitness is almost what it once was. I ran the last 2 km today at a great pace for the terrain.
Weigh in today was not all that good. The last 2 weeks I have put on weight. Some of it in my Water levels and some I am sure in Muscle gain. I also may have gained a little fat but I am sure not that much, So this means a few things. The first of which is I lost my bet and Pre-New year’s with Lebowitz. That is going to cost us both(He never made it either) attending a Minyan for a week. Not an easy feat for me but I don’t have a choice and maybe the man upstairs wanted me to lose the bet because I have been scarce lately.
The other reasons I have for the slight weight gain is not enough roughage in my diet!!!! I know that the last 2 weeks I have been eating a lot less Salads and vegetables. It happens to me sometimes when I am lazy to prepare or just a little tired of it. I am pretty sure this has had some influence on the pace.
Also I have been eating about 200 more calories a day I think because I am not accurately updating my calorie count in the Excel spreadsheet. The problem for me is not eating junk food because with that I don’t eat it out of choice. It is more of a need to eat more as my body is demanding more because of the amount I am expending with Exercise. I sometimes feel ravenous and I know my body needs more fuel yet I am depriving it with the diet a little.
There are ups and a few downs on this road of Weight Loss Maintenance and maintaining a normal lifestyle. The main thing is just keeping overall consistency eating healthy and training as hard as my enjoyable sport’s addiction allows. I am looking forward now to being out of the diet race for a deadline and just taking it week by week again.

1560 calories is amazing
i pumped step machine today hard for 30 minutes and burnt only 450 calories (per the machine). i’m broken, i dont think i can do over 1000 in one day even with weights after step machine
