KickBoxing
Kickboxing in my sense of the word is a little different to what you think. I don’t fight with other people I just train with them in one of the most intense aerobic workouts you can get.
Kickboxing classes in the modern gym environment usually involve a class of learning kickboxing combinations to high energy music. There are sometimes punching bags involved and sparring with a partners gloves but no actual hitting as such.
As usual find an instructor that gets the class hyped up and has good heavy trance music to go with it and you will find that this class can burn a shi…t load of calories in an hour with great interval training and usually good stomach exercises.
As you can see you need to keep a lot of different options open in your Sports Arsenal to keep varying things so you don’t get bored. Trying to lose weight by eating well and using a Stairmaster are not going to last all that long you need to have as many options open to you as possible. Find different to sports for you to do and keep track of what you are burning off in each session with Mr. Polar heart rate watch. Listen to your Body !!!!
