I arrived at Holmes place today and could not find my goggles and my earplugs. It was a big bummer and I went home to see if they were there. They were not. I must have lost them somewhere. Anyways I sorely missed my swim .I did the double spinning class with  רועי גרין and it was manageable  for most of it although my pulse again was pretty high. I managed to burn off 1450 calories in one class which is awesome though.He is a great Spinning Guru and I love the class. The scale seems to be showing good things too. I am down 4kgs since I started dieting a bit better about 3 weeks ago. Even my week off sick did not do any damage.

They never let you put enough characters in the sentence and it was hard to fit that in :)  I am looking forward the annual event which was originally the 1st race I entered voluntarily in my life and it feels  great for that 3 years down the line I am still running and fighting the daily battle of Weight loss Maintenance  and still Loving it !!!!

Tough Day In The Field !!!!

Today’s run was very very hard. I felt very out of shape and still a little sick. My pulse was ok till around the 5Km mark and then it just stayed high and was hard to keep down while still completing the run.I hit 190 beats per minute and was averaging 182 from the 5km mark.  Getting over the mental battle not to stop in the middle was hard but manageable. I cannot wait to be back in full steam again. I am still dripping sweat and I stopped running about 30 minutes ago .

I can see that tomorrow’s double  spinning class with רועי גרין is going to be tough as hell to get through but I am looking forward to it.

Its very quiet on the Steven Shaw and Chily Fachler fronts !!!! You have some quiet time till after Rosh Hashana but you should still be exercising sooner….

Sick Leave Is Over I Am Back Baby!!!

Been a long and horrible week out of Spaddiction and endorphins. I had a little flu and it was very irritating but thank g-d its over and I am back at work again .Lost a bit of my fitness already.

Started off taking it a little easy to test the water so to speak with an hour in the pool at Holmes Place Ranaana. This was followed by a great Aerobics class with גלי ליבנה. .

I can sum up aerobics as follows. Whenever I am in a Run, spinning class, the gym or a swim I am always looking at my watch thinking how much time has gone by and looking forward to the end. With Aerobics it’s the complete opposite I am looking at my watch thinking “damn only so much time left “ I don’t want it to end just one more song . It’s the most fun calories burnt of the week. Its Ripley’s Believe it or not !!!! . I still don’t believe it.

So there is a rumor running around that Steve and Filig are committing to giving me before pictures to pose here and we will all follow their progress to Spaddiction  and healthy life at 50-60kgs away .  It’s a little bit hard to believe its true but you never know. Stranger things have happened. I mean look at what happened to Chatzke !  Come on lads as I said when I started its now or never to make the switch in your head coz that’s all it is !!! Lebowitz has agreed to be the referee and coach of  the ‘insanity’ workout  .

In a years time you will all be on the new Oprah :)  after Filig writes the book for us !!!  Filig will change from the world’s biggest sports spectator to actually being a participant !!! Playing rugby with his kids for once and loving outrunning them. Steve will get that Adam character to behave by doing Tri-athlons with him and spending all his energy.When I visited Lebo 2  years ago it was really fun to actually be able to keep up with his kids and run away from them without them catching me and trying to beat me up for smoking !!!

Anyways You All Know Its Possible . I Am Living Proof  so JUSTDOIT !!!!

PS Even if you don’t I am going to hunner you both in this blog for as long as it takes .People will Google your names and it will show in Spaddict first.  Trust me I can prove this to you in a week. !!! So get moving moving !!!

I made it to Holmes Place Azrieli today and it was worth it . I swam and I still hate the pool there. After that I went to the toning class and then aerobics both with גלי ליבנה and she killed us tonight. I am going to be very stiff tomorrow form the toning class its been a while

All in all a good days work but the weight is not coming down as fast as I want it to. I need to eat much less dammit !!!

Today I clocked my watch with a 3 hour Cardio session of note to start my week and earn my 1st million. It was my 1st million earned the hard way I hope the rest are easier and also will be in $ and not in calories : )  I am looking forward to earning my 2nd million in calories . I will give up my Polar F4 watch soon and since I got no response from the Polar Watch company I think its time to maybe try earn my 2nd million with a Garmin instead :)

Anyways I am giving myself a pat on the back and moving forward now to the next challenge. My 1st one is to get a good nights rest.

It was very fitting to pass the million make in the most enjoyable class of the week with גלי ליבנה .Tomorrow is an open day at Holmes Place Azrieli and I am going to try make her class again please  g-d.

What a great day today. I got a dual session in. I managed to get up early enough this morning and get to Ranaana in the evening. Total actual exercise was 4 hours. Add another few hours around that traveling and showering time and you will see I did not work all that much today but F$#%$#k it I made it to the gym which is more important.

I am really out of shape for Pilates and my stomach and core muscles are way out of tune but I am on my way back .It was my 1st time with a new teacher at Holmes Place Herzliya and she is another great one טל שריג who has found a loyal follower. I then sweated it out on the Elliptical cross trainer which I haven’t done in a while.

In my 2nd session I tried out Holmes Place Ranaana for the 1st time and it’s a 1st class gym for sure. I am going to enjoy going there. The facilities are great. The pool is big the Aerobics class was big and there was some new eye candy for a change. Not that there is anything wrong with the other ones. Most of all they were the most fun calories spent of the week.

Anyways the million is really close now and could make it by Shabbos but I think I want to save it till I am in Aerobics on Sunday as that would be fitting. I may even turn it off if I get too close :)  I am soo tired now off to rest.

Not an intensive day but a productive one none the less. I am really starting to choose a swim over all else these days when I get into the gym. I am really enjoying it lately and today was almost no different. There was a slight problem in that ever since I stopped smoking about 18 months ago I am very sensitive to the smell of cigarette smoke and I don’t particularly like it .In fact when I am in the pool and every time I came up for air and  the smell from the floor upstairs where they are renovating and the builders are smoking it killed me. It was really irritating and I now understand what the fuss about the smell is for non-smokers it’s disgusting!!! . I wanted to go shout at them to stop.

I did profit from it and I have my silver membership early which means I can go to Holmes Place Ranaana tomorrow night to train .I did not make it to Azrieli this week due to work and the fact I walked into a glass door and got a mild concussion. Don’t ask !!!

I also managed to get a Core Pilates class with  גלי חן and it was great. I feel like I am back on track. My eating has been great this week so far and diet is going well .

I am closing in steadily on my Millionth Calorie burnt on  my Polar Watch. I hope when I reach the Million it will coinside with winning the lottery and get my dual Millionaire Citizenship status :)

Thank  g-d the Showers are back at Holmes Place Herzliya and I am back in my own domain again.  I managed  almost 3 hours of great Cardio tonight. I am klupped but in a good way. I am also on day 1 of my diet. Yes Diet. Time has come to lose 10Kg as it has been creeping up on me and I am not comfortable with it. Clothes are getting tighter stomach is getting bigger and its time for a 2 month push of eating well again and of course training like a true Spaddict again.

The swim was awesome the spinning was hard but good. One week of not spinning and my legs really hurt. Aerobics was as usual the berries with גלי ליבנה .I cannot get enough of it. I am going to try sneak in to Holmes Place Azrieli tomorrow and play dumb that I did not know the showers were fixed and get another dose of  גלי ליבנה class :)   That is of course if I can make it on time from work.

Anyways 1st Innings and put in 2666 calories. I am sure to win the test match this week. Just staying away from junk and saying no to extra food. Count my calories and all will come off.

I am down to only 8548 calories till the million mark. If I carry on this week at this pace by the end of the week I am going to make the million mark!!!!

2 days ago I never had time to post a blog. There was not too much to post because all I did was swim that day but still… I went to the Homles Place in Azrieli Center and once again I was disappointed with the facilities .  The place is crowded and oversold. The pool was a disaster. If anyone is a serious swimmer and thinks they are getting  pool to train in when joining there forget about it. They have divided the pool into 2 lanes a “slow” lane and a “fast” lane. I don’t think I am a very fast swimmer but I would always take a fast lane if I got in the pool because I don’t feel like getting stuck behind a geriatric whale. In this pool I was the quickest and kept catching up to people in front of me and had to slow down the whole time. Its was very frustrating and dirty too….. The only thing that Azrieli has going for it it its large Aerobic studio. Other than that I am going to avoid it at all costs. I miss Herzliya Holmes Place a lot :)

As I mentioned earlier this week been having a little pain in the knees and my Achilles has been sore\stiff. Today I took a test run of around 8km on the road. I probably should have rested a little more but I haven’t been able to get to Raanana Holmes place  to swim and do other non impact stuff . Anyways the run was not too bad and I am hurting but not badly. Lets hope it goes away soon.

Eating has been problematic the whole week I have to admit and something needs to be done about it soon. I know I keep saying next week next week but I think that From NEXT week I am going to diet again and be hungry at least till the 10\10\10 10pm when the Nike Tel Aviv night run takes place . Until then I have to lose 10 pounds and hopefully 10kg but that will be pushing things a little. I will keep you updated.

STEVE and CHILY its time to get back on treadmills and bikes. No Excuse anymore if am getting back on wagon too. ….Its now or never people. Just flipping do it already before its too late or too hard !!!
