Judgment Day
Spaddicts Log Stardate 18th of November 2009 . We are officially another 500grams lighter this week 94.3KG=207.89 Pounds . Not as much as I hoped for but once again its in the right direction for the 3rd running week. I am now 2kg lighter in 3 weeks. All this since I started my official
calorie audit.The race to 89.9Kg by New years eve is on. The game is still wide open and in reach.
Speaking of Calories I had a lot of them for lunch today and not the most ideal but it was worth it. I stopped for a Shwarma at my favorite place Which is ironically called “HaShamen” (The Fat one) .In my opinion one of the tastiest Shwarmas in Israel : ) Coming from a ex-overweight person this opinion should not be taken lightly when it comes to good food.
It was probably around 800-900 calories but once in while you just have to have something just make sure its worth it ..I believe you have to learn to eat well consistently that’s all what its about not the bad meal here and there. In all my 2 years if eating better let’s not call it dieting I would eat almost everything just in proportion and make the better(not perfect) choices of not ordeiring with fries. Never say to yourself I will never eat anything non dietic while on diet you will crack at some stage and binge out.
I did manage to burn some of this off in the morning .I ran 9km of half Sand road half off road and sand dunes. I then did a great aerobics class. For some reason there are quite a few males that come in on Wednesdays for aerobics. Naama makes the routine a little less complicated for us males on Wednesdays so that we only need to do one thing at a time. We do however get maybe even more calories burn out of it though. I then took it easy and went to a stretching class. All in all 1800 calories sweated off today according to Mr Polar watch.
The truth is there is NOWAYS anyone can succeed at “dieting” in the sense of the word most people think it is. It has to be a way of eating healthy for the rest of your life. It’s not going to be for a few weeks\month\years ITS FOR LIFE . I really find eating healthy is great in many ways. It’s definitely tastier and you feel good about putting the right FUEL into your body .Same as a car you cannot put leaded fuel into a unleaded engine and low quality fuel will ruin your engine the same goes with our bodies. On top of all this when you exercise so much you want to achieve results with the hard work you put in. Your body for sure needs the right natural medicine l to repair itself and build on itsefl with all the hammering its been taking sweating it all out.
I know most of your are probably thinking I have heard this a 1000 times from other people about eating healthy cliché’s blab bla bla….. BUT as I always believe and maintain the simple truth you need to make the switch in your underutilized brains. There are no secrets to losing weight all the information is already out there. Consistency, willpower and common sense is all it takes. Exercising creates the willpower , consistency comes from endorphin addiction! Eating well is mostly common sense and all knowledge that can be attained from Google, Some useful stuff from Spaddict I hope or any qualified nutritionist. It aint rocket science that’s for sure. There is no magic pill going to come out that will cure you of being overweight.
God gave you all the tools you need you just need to use them and use them correctly. Start with your brain by making that Stupidly Simple Switch to being in control and making better choices, the rest will follow.
That’s my 5cents worth for the day……
